About this piece

A deliberately large stone on a wide, flat shank. At 8.4 g this ring is over the 7.78 g statutory exemption for silver, so it carries a full UK hallmark — sponsor's mark, 925 millesimal fineness, and the London Assay Office leopard's head. A 10 mm table on a Mohs 7 stone will pick up surface scratches with hard daily wear; this is a piece to put on for an evening, not to type in.
