Lab-Created Emerald Ring 7×5 mm
Laboratory-grown emerald — cleaner than natural, and labelled as grown.
Coloured stones are natural material. Colour, tone, inclusion pattern and — on cabochons and uncut pieces — outline and size differ from one to the next. Two pieces of the same reference will not be identical.

About this piece
This emerald was grown in a laboratory by hydrothermal synthesis. It is beryl coloured by chromium — the same material as natural emerald — but it grew in a vessel rather than in rock, so it carries far fewer inclusions and needs no fracture filling. It is not a natural emerald and is not offered as one. Because there is no filler in it, this stone tolerates ordinary cleaning better than the natural emeralds on this site.
