About this piece
Colourless sapphire is corundum, the same mineral as blue sapphire and ruby, at Mohs 9 with no cleavage. That combination is why these are graded for daily wear while most of this catalogue is not. Sapphire has a lower dispersion than diamond, so it reads bright rather than fiery — a different look, described here as what it is rather than as a stand-in for something else.
Total carat weight across all 2 stones: 1.40 ct. The wear grade shown for the piece as a whole is daily, because a piece is only as forgiving as its softest stone.
